Will my server have a firewall?
Unless you have specifically requested a managed dedicated server with hardware firewall from with us then your server will have a raw, unprotected feed straight to our internet backbone.
Most Operating Systems now include some form of low level firewall protection and if this is the case then your server will have that added layer of protection compared to those who don't have any firewall in place.
If you do need a hardware firewall for PCI compliancy for example, then please contact us for a bespoke quotation.
